Good question. I'm not sure when JLPT textbooks will be revised. I imagine it depends on when the publishers receive more detailed information from the JLPT administrators. I'll keep my eyes peeled for new versions!

I was just wondering since the tests hare going to change next year, will there be new versions of the JLPT textbooks? I am planning to buy them soon and I don't know if I should wait till next year instead.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for this post. I actually intended to do the JLPT level 4 last year ago, but was disrupted by my wife asking me to help her publish another book... And this year disrupted by writing another book and the preparations for our move to Japan... So 2009 and maybe...

Anyway I think the 5 Levels is a good move because there was a big step up between 3 and 2 before...

Cheers,

James
