    Lovely picture. :D

Well I have a question, don’t know if you’re gonna be able to answer but here we go.
What’s the best area to Live in Tokyo (security ans stuff like that)? If you could answer
that would be amazing. Thank you.

  4. Pamela, I don’t think there’s anywhere in Tokyo that I would call particularly “unsafe” when compared with cities in the UK. It’s never really been an issue for me while living here

As for the best area to live in Tokyo, a firm called Next conducts an annual survey of the most popular places to live in Tokyo among Japanese people. This year Kichijoji, in western Tokyo, came out on top. The reasons people gave for choosing Kichijoji were: good transport links; lots of shops; restaurants and amenities close to the train station; and lots of green space.

Here’s a list of the top four:

    1. Kichijoji
    2. Jiyugaoka
    3. Ebisu
    4. Nakano

In my humble opinion, if you want to live slap bang in the middle of Tokyo and don’t mind splashing out (or your company is paying for your accommodation) then I would recommend either Ebisu or somewhere around Yoyogi.

    Hope this helps!
